Riad Alkerdasy
Director and Partner
Riad Awad Mahmoud Alkerdasy is the Managing Partner of the firm, bringing more than four decades of legal experience across the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
He graduated from Ain Shams University, Cairo, in 1982 and has been in active legal practice since 1983. He established his own law practice in Egypt before extending his professional presence to the United Arab Emirates in 1994, where he built a solid reputation as a trusted legal advisor in complex, high-value disputes and cross-border matters.
Prior to joining Mohamed Alshaikh Advocates & Legal Consultants, Mr. Alkerdasy served as Director of Al Dawli Law Firm & Legal Consultations Office until 2020. In that capacity, he supervised multi-disciplinary legal files, managed major commercial and construction disputes, and handled a significant caseload for local, regional, and international clients.
He has been registered with the Egyptian Bar Association for more than forty-three years and has long been admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation in Egypt, reflecting his senior standing and extensive appellate experience before the highest judicial level.
Mr. Alkerdasy has represented clients in numerous arbitration proceedings before leading regional arbitration centers and is widely recognized for his strategic management of complex disputes across the GCC, particularly in the construction and infrastructure sector. His deep understanding of contractual structures, regulatory frameworks, and commercial practices in the region enables him to deliver effective and commercially sound solutions.
