totaling approximately one billion dollars across the MENA region and Africa. Having spent over
five years in the construction sector in Dubai, Tony possesses a nuanced understanding of the
regional construction landscape, enabling him to navigate intricate disputes with strategic
precision and efficiency.
Tony’s professional background also extends to key
commercial and infrastructure projects, where
he has been involved in contract drafting, dispute resolution, and claims management for major
multinational corporations operating in Africa, India, and the GCC. His ability to integrate
legal and technical knowledge allows him to deliver pragmatic, results-oriented advice tailored
to each client’s objectives.
Before joining Mohamed Alshaikh Advocates and Legal Consultants, Tony worked
with TPM Williams
as a Construction Claims Consultant, assisting and leading numerous claims across the UAE, KSA,
and Europe. He demonstrated strong skills in claim analysis, drafting, and the entire claims
process—from inception and mediation to settlement agreements, litigation in UAE courts, and
arbitration proceedings under ADGM, DIFC, ADCCAC, and DIAC. He has also gained valuable
experience working with several reputable law firms across the UAE, further strengthening his
expertise in dispute resolution and contract law.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Buckingham in the
United Kingdom and
is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). His areas of focus
include construction law, corporate and commercial law, claim preparation and analysis, and
